Melamine Rapid Test Kit​

How does it work?

The test provides fast and reliable screening for melamine in milk samples. It is suitable for use in dairy farms, milk collection centres, quality control laboratories, and dairy processing plants.

The kit can be used to analyse raw, pasteurised, and reconstituted milk powder samples.

The kit provides rapid qualitative detection of melamine (MEL) in milk at or above established maximum regulatory limits (MRL). It supports compliance with regulatory limits established in the EU, India, and the USA.

The test uses immunochromatographic (lateral flow) technology with specific monoclonal antibodies, enabling accurate detection without the need for complex laboratory equipment.

In the box

Each box contains 96 test strips, allowing analysis of up to 96 samples.

Contents of the box:

• 96 test strips (6 plastic tubes; each tube contains 16 test strips and two 8-well reagent strips)
• 1 micropipette (200 µl)
• 100 disposable pipette tips
• 1 holding frame for wells
• User manual

Only one test strip is required per sample.

How to use it?

The test kit can be used with or without an incubator.

Results are available within 4–6 minutes.
